Dutch Cooking Workshop

Did you ever wonder why the Dutch are the tallest people in the world? Is it in the milk, could it be the food? Is it so nutricious??
This cooking workshop will be especially organized for our tourists, expats and others with a healthy curiousity towards our Dutch way of live.
As an aperitive we will start with some glasses of old Dutch gin (jenever) next to a herring with unions, as a real Dutch treat.
Traditional dishes will be made, like three diverend kinds of "stamppot" (variations with mashed potatoes): with carrots and Dutch stew (wortel stamppot or hutspot met klapstuk), with curly kale with a juicy smoked sausage (boerenkool stamppot met rookworst), or endive with lean smoked bacon (andijvie stamppot met spekjes). We could acompany our meals with Dutch beer, or as you prefer with some white or red wines.
